1or8 Flutter Developer

One or Eight is looking for a Flutter Developer to build and grow the mobile side of our sports media and broadcasting platform. Our audience follows live sports closely, and increasingly, they do it from their phones. This role is about making that experience fast, smooth, and reliable.

You will work closely with our backend, design, and product teams to turn features into polished, production ready mobile experiences. This role suits someone who enjoys building apps that real people use every day, especially during high pressure moments like live matches.

Responsibilities

You will take ownership of features across our mobile applications, from planning to release.

Your day to day work will include:

• Building and maintaining cross platform mobile applications using Flutter

• Implementing responsive, performant UI based on designs from our product and design teams

• Integrating mobile applications with backend APIs, including real time data during live sports events

• Testing, debugging, and optimizing app performance across iOS and Android

• Managing app releases, including working with App Store and Play Store submission processes

• Collaborating with backend developers to shape APIs that serve the mobile experience well

We expect you to care about how the app feels to use, not just whether it works.

Requirements

We value hands on experience and strong fundamentals over a fixed list of years.

You should have:

• Strong experience building applications with Flutter and Dart

• A solid understanding of state management approaches within Flutter

• Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs

• Familiarity with publishing and maintaining apps on both the App Store and Google Play

• An eye for detail when it comes to UI, animation, and overall app performance

• Comfort working in a small, fast moving team where priorities can shift quickly

It would be a strong plus if you also have:

• Experience with real time data, live updates, or streaming within a mobile app

• Familiarity with native iOS or Android development

• Exposure to media, sports, or high traffic consumer applications

What We Offer

We want engineers building our mobile products to feel real ownership over what they ship.

Joining One or Eight means:

• Building a mobile product used by a real, engaged sports audience across South Asia

• Working on features that matter most during the biggest, highest pressure moments in sports

• Being part of a small team where your decisions directly shape the product

• Room to grow across the mobile stack, from UI to performance to release management

How to Apply

If you enjoy building mobile products that people rely on, we would love to hear from you.

Send your CV, along with links to any apps you have built or contributed to, to info@1or8.com.np with the subject line "Flutter Developer Application." We review applications on a rolling basis and will reach out if there is a match.
